Mona Communication Link Protection — Privacy Policy

Mona Communication Link Protection ("Mona") is an enterprise browser extension that

checks links clicked inside WhatsApp Web and Telegram Web for phishing before the

destination page loads.

What Mona processes

- The URL of a link you click inside the supported chat apps.

- The URL of the chat tab the link was clicked in (for attribution to the deploying org).

- The content of the destination page (a rendered screenshot, final URL, and page

structure) is analyzed to detect phishing.

What Mona never collects

- Your messages or their contents.

- Cookies, browser storage, passwords, authentication tokens, or form field values.

- Clipboard contents, your browsing history, or your location.

How it is used

- Solely to determine whether a clicked link is safe, and to show the result. Data is

not sold and is not used for any purpose unrelated to link safety.

Who operates it

- Mona is deployed by your organization's IT administrator under a managed enterprise

configuration. Inspection results may be visible to your organization's administrators.
